Open calls
Tanssiartesaani is seeking constantly for new collaborations for enlarging our views and getting more inputs: dance artists for instance but also musicians, light designers, photographers, cinematographers, costume designers and professionals in different cultural fields have been engaged in many of our projects. We also run an open call every year for selecting short dance films to be screened during our Talvitanssit / Vinterdanser / Winterdances Festival.
The association ensures that all the partners and professional collaborators are always treated with respect and adequately paid.
Since 2015 the association has collaborated with over 100 entities.

Tanvitanssit / Vinterdaser / Winterdances is a multidisciplinary festival event focused on the art form of dance and how it dialogues with other media as live music, visual art and especially film.
The 2025 edition of our festival wants to display a selection of short dance films about the connections between language and body.
“Move in Relation”
We are looking for short dance films about relationships between humans, not humans, bodies and souls. Relationship as the state of being connected, related or interrelated.

Notification date: 14.1.2025
This year the events will reach the local schools with more that 800 students in the audience. We will screen the selected films in cinema theatres of Loviisa and Porvoo.
