Tanssiartesaani ry.
Mission – touching with stories
The aim of Tanssiartesaani is to bring contemporary dance and performative arts to a wider audience — to engage, inspire, and invite active reactions through meaningful encounters.
Our artistic goal is to tell stories through multidisciplinary projects that combine different media and artistic collaborations, touching the sensitivity and imagination of the audience.
The association supports each production by fostering collaborations with other organizations and professional artists, while also creating opportunities for and with novice artists and amateurs.
Vision – multi-language projects
Contemporary dance often holds a marginal role in the arts field, sometimes seen as too elitist or difficult to understand.
Tanssiartesaani aims to bring audiences closer to dance — to enjoy, understand, and connect with the stories it tells.
To achieve this, our projects merge contemporary dance with more accessible artistic languages such as film, theatre, and interactive scenography, creating bridges between disciplines and audiences.
